Habitat Mobile is a mobile art camp, composed of nomadic habitat, traditional and contemporary.

Habitat Mobile is a mobile art camp, composed of nomadic habitat, traditional and contemporary.

Its objectives are:
Promote nomadic cultures, their diversity, their expertise in terms of construction of nomadic habitat

Highlighting the creations of artists and architects contemporary
inspired by the nomads.

Valuing the cultural heritage of nomadic peoples, the sustainable development projects to benefit local people there are involved, the concept of hospitality.

Specific Project:
No habitats are nomadic contemporary novel as invented by students at the International Competition New Habitats Nomades

No habitats traditional nomads (Tuareg tents, yurts, tipi …) are handled by contemporary artists

The educational exhibition addresses how cross nomadic cultures, by theme (travel, food, education …)

The camp is designed from the outset to be mobile and to be presented on 5 continents.

May 2009
Musée du Montparnasse exhibition Desert Camp, Dating tents SaharanEvent to launch the project, under the sponsorship of UNESCO and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and an international architectural competition, “New Habitats Nomades” for students so they invent contemporary nomadic habitats.

1st May to 1st September 2011
Receipt of registration records in the competition New Habitats Nomades.
