Forest Sound Amplification

The shape of the Speaker is created to emphasize the sound of the forest.The amplification of the sound of nature, such as the echo of the lake, trees rustling, wind whistling, is an essential element not only for the practice of meditation, but for a deep contact of the person with the intact environment of the forest, to rise his awareness about a natural life. Expertise proved that the frequencies related with nature improve brain relaxation, essential for a resting experience.

Wood Structure

Wood is the heart of the forest, as a sustainable material, it is always renewable. Wood has wonderful characteristics related with thermal isolation, and it is perfect for the cold temperature of northern forest. Cabin shell made by pre fabricated LVL (laminated veneer lumber) and two layers of framed plywood to make its shape smooth and get better response from environment. Wood is a symbol of renovation and in the perfect nature balance philosophy, for every cut tree, two must be replanted.

Wind Circulation

Air is the element of breathing. In a meditation space is the essence of a good psycho physical balance. It influence our mood and our blood oxygenation, that’s why the structure has a perfect air circulation related with windows. The size, the position and the shape of these elements create a light air flow that is perfect to refresh the interior space without decreasing the inner temperature.

Rain Water Collector

Water is an essential element for every livable space. Living a life in nature means zero waste approach and deep awareness of all the elements even the ones usually we don’t consider. With this idea, the Speaker hold a spacious rain water collector, hidden in the soil below the structure. The pipes system, located on the two sides of the entrance provide to the underground tank a wide amount of rain water, an essential element for the activities related with the cabin.

Solar Panel System
The Speaker has a system of powerful solar panel located on the space above the entrance of the wooden structure. The Sun is an extremely powerful energy source, and sunlight is by far the largest source of energy received by Earth. The solar panel system provide to the cabin a precious storage of energy ready to be use for every need of the cabin. With this system the cabin is totally sustainable and every structure has it is own independent energy storage to be used autonomously.
