Toru Flour Administrative Building designed by D211 Architecture is located in Bandırma district of Balıkesir.
Toru Flour Administrative Building, which provides users with a comfortable, functional and social working environment with its spacious and useful layout, is present in its surroundings with the yellow metal cladding used on its facade.
The building, located in Bandirma district of Balikesir, has a place in the city’s memory with its silhouette. When you enter the building, which has extreme circulation as opposed to the single-storey building features of the users, you are welcomed in the conference hall. In the parcel, which does not have green areas to protect the grain warehouses from rodents and other harmful animals, the green courtyards formed in the mass allow the building and people to breathe.
While the seating limits of the building were determined, the dense silobas and truck traffic around it were taken into consideration and the building registration area was determined accordingly, thus leaving maneuvering space for the vehicles. It is not possible to block the existing process in the building creation process, which does not interrupt the existing vehicle outputs.
In response to the water pressures experienced in the surrounding area, the building substructure structures were lifted up. The seating areas of the conference hall are leveled and arranged. This closed car park ramp was designed by considering a section under the seating arrangement. While planning the interior space of the building, which operates horizontally, the laboratory was moved to the center in order to keep the temperature constant, and the mechanical areas were solved as soon as possible. While privacy is protected with closed offices, the aim is to obtain intimate and warm spaces with semi-open offices. With the cost of the height used on the façade, interior atmosphere-controlled light intake was ensured.
The building, with every detail designed both inside and outside, is an integrated spatial fiction with the user profile and the existing extensive structures.
